💗 Roblox Friend Request Workflow

A simple system for helping members who genuinely cannot join a server because of Roblox privacy settings or because they play on console.

⚠️ Important: This is not a general “add me” service. Friend requests should only be processed when a member cannot join normally because of privacy settings or console limitations.
The whole process

Member request → host action → completed

Everything is connected. The member submits once, the system verifies the Roblox profile, and the assigned host can work the request from Discord or the Host Portal.

1. Member submits2. System verifies3. Host receives it4. Host adds on Roblox5. Host marks complete
1 • Member starts

They first get instructions for their device

The member can choose whether they are getting their Roblox profile link from a computer/browser or directly from the Roblox mobile app.

💻 Computer / Browser

Open Roblox, go to the profile, and copy the full profile URL from the browser address bar.

Computer Roblox profile link instructions

The computer instructions show exactly where to click and where to copy the profile URL.

📱 Mobile App

Open the Roblox app, visit the profile, use Share, then choose Copy Link.

Mobile Roblox profile link instructions

The mobile instructions walk the member through copying the profile link from the Roblox app.

2 • Submit

They paste their Roblox profile link

Once they have the link, they paste it into the request form and submit it.

3 • Safety checks

The system does more than pass along the URL

🔐 Verified profile link

The submitted link is checked against Roblox and the member’s actual profile information. The host workflow uses the verified profile information rather than blindly trusting whatever URL was typed.

🚫 Duplicate protection

A Roblox account cannot be submitted repeatedly. If that account has already been submitted, the system flags the duplicate instead of creating another request.

What this means for hosts: You should not need to investigate whether the member gave you a legitimate profile URL. The system is designed to give you the verified profile information for the request.
4 • Member confirmation

After submission, they see a confirmation

The member gets a confirmation with the Roblox account and request ID, then waits for a host to add them.

5 • Host receives it

You get the request in Discord

The assigned host receives a Discord DM with the member’s Roblox profile, team, request ID, and a direct action button.

6 • Host Portal

The same request is also waiting in your Host Portal

You do not have to work from Discord alone. Your Friend Reqs area shows outstanding requests and request history.

Open the member’s profile, add them on Roblox, then select I’ve Added Them. Completed requests move into history.

7 • Complete it

Mark the request complete in whichever place is easiest

💬 From Discord

Use the I’ve Added Them button on the friend-request DM after you have successfully sent the Roblox friend request.

🌐 From the Host Portal

Open Friend Reqs, find the outstanding request, add the member from the provided profile, and select I’ve Added Them.

Automatic follow-up

You should not have to remember every request
